Reference project Creative Media. High speed flight through the Social Web

Mission

With the introduction of the football shoe adidas F50, a young target group was to be addressed on the net and led to the relevant social media channels under the motto “Light speed”. The shoe, as well as what makes it unique (technology, lightness, precision), was the absolute communication focus.

Implementation

Invitation to fly
The takeover banner lies over popular sport content in the web as a half transparent layer – for example on sites like kicker.de and sport1.de. By clicking on his mouse, the user follows the shoe into a black hole and flies at light speed through the net. The user gets all the information about the product via animated sequences without ever leaving the banner.

Experience content in real-time
During the flight, the user can see live social media content. All it takes is one click and the user is transferred seamlessly to the official YouTube Channel or the Twitter stream. The trip ends in a 360° view of the shoe with links to the Facebook page and the adidas shop.

Technical Excellence
The first of its kind, the banner contains the content of an entire digital campaign in a new media format. The combination of live social media content and 3D sequences offers an amazing presentation – with the highest graphics quality of course.

Conclusion

The banner combines a number of unusual interaction opportunities in an innovative special format. Users get an emotional and informative experience. Around 1.7 million users interacted with the banner in some way, spending an average of eight seconds in the Light Speed Dimension.
