Mission

Promotional website for the German Hip Hop artist Sabrina Setlur and her new album „SABS“, 3p Gesellschaft für Kommunikation GmbH, Rödelheim. The aim is the successful promotion of the album SABS - through an artistically-inspired presentation of the new album and the artist.

Implementation

Unseen, extraordinary, challenging: The site allows users to take on the artist’s perspective, and to actively participate in her philosophy, her personality, and the new album SABS. The goal: to transport the ambitious elements in Sabrina’s music to the internet with an experimental approach.

By breaking up the linear rules of conventional interviews, the section “Close Up” offers fans the possibility to lead their own special interview with Germany’s most successful hip-hop music singer. The same experimental approach is reflected in the navigation, thereby letting Sabrina’s personality unfold itself - undisturbed by menu items. Additionally, typographic and sound effects reflect the playful handling of words and samples typical for Sabrina’s music.

Conclusion

Sabrina Setlur’s new website clearly expresses her strong identity both in regard to functionality as well as design. It is an experimental, personal, aesthetic and ambitious statement. The number of visitors doubled in the month following the launch of the site.
