Banner ad campaign for PRINZ Online, Germany’s best selling monthly city guide.

Implementation

With the PRINZ banner ad, choosing the right getup for going out is plain sailing. Instead of finding the right outfit for an event, it lists fitting events for each outfit. The banner starts with a woman wearing high-necked evening attire. Little does the user realise what comes next. A small “hand” icon near the collar of the dress indicates that the user can interact with the site. Users move the mouse to lower or raise the cleavage and define the style of the outfit. Together with the selected outfit, users are listed events in their city. The only exception: if the costume is too revealing. The banner ad then kindly points out that PRINZ cannot cater for all “events” in life…

Conclusion

The PRINZ foldout banner is fully interactive. There’s even a surprise in store with an unexpected punch line. The banner thrives on an unusual concept and conveys a clear message. PRINZ can offer events for every outfit.
