Relaunch the adidas Originals website for the launch of the Spring/Summer leisurewear collection 2007.

Implementation

Inspired by croquet, the online communication adopts elements of the game and renders, rendering the basic rules in an unconventional navigation concept. Playing in team of croquet players, users knock their ball through a bizarre landscape – the “Folded World”. Walls, floors and ceilings fold out and reassemble as new rooms. Each room shows an Originals leisure style with different detail shots. Users navigate through the various outfits with the ball. At the same time, they learn the six golden rules of croquet.

Conclusion

Interactive product presentation with a nod, wink and a wow! The website for adidas Originals defies the laws of time and space. Users are thrown into a world that questions everything they have come to accept as normal. “Expect the unexpected”. Unconventional and interactive online communication as a supplement to the press campaign. The element of surprise earns the campaign one of the industry’s most prestigious awards: the IF communication design award 2007. The microsite is a success.
