Frankfurt, 25. October 2007 - At this year’s Internet World in Munich, Neue Digitale Group Account Director, Kai Platschke narrated a presentation for 100 Attendees about potential "Strategies for User Generated Content as a Dialog between Brand and Target Audience." The primary focus was around the requirements of User Gen: how can it serve the needs of both the Brand and the Target Audience? And what does it even mean to serve the needs of the brand and the target market? How is it that User Gen doesn’t make sense for some Advertisers at all?

Kai Platschke, in addition to Oliver Rosenthal (Saatchi & Saatchi), Sven Schlotfeldt (Coma) and Dirk Hample (I-D Media AG) discussed the following questions: Where does good User Generated Content get tripped up? And why don’t Marketing Decision Makers trust themselves to take risks? Apparently one problem is a frequent lack of understanding of the "new Internet" by many decision makers. Conclusion: Just try it. It requires courage. But that’s the only way that User Gen can really be successful.
