Razorfish is growing rapidly

With a growth of 28 percent, 2011 has been an incredible year for Razorfish Germany! The acclaimed agency, with offices in Frankfurt and Berlin, has seen a remarkable increase in demand from regional and international clients, especially in business strategy services. A combination of new accounts and increased business development with existing clients, as well as a positive forecast for 2012, has Razorfish Germany CEO, Andreas Gahlert, in a great mood. “We are really proud of the fact that we were able to further develop several business areas in 2011. In particular, Social Media, Mobile, Multi-touch and Business Intelligence. With that, we are all geared up for a progressive way of communication in the digital era,” says Gahlert. He expects 2012 to be just as successful in terms of positive business development.

Razorfish looks back at the biggest growth it has seen in a fiscal year since Neue Digitale, as the agency was originally known, was sold to Razorfish in 2006. The agency increased its turnover in 2011 by 28 percent as revenue rose to 17.6 million euros. Supporting this growth were increased responsibilities with the existing clients like Audi and McDonalds, as well as having landed two new accounts with o2 and Pattex.

Helping to reach this success has been the addition of new talent focused on brand-strategy and client service. Across both offices, Razorfish Germany has roughly 200 employees. This group has been responsible for creating some amazing highlights in 2011, including the “Mein Burger” campaign for McDonalds Germany. It was one of the most successful integrated campaigns and generated the first ever crowdsourcing-burger.
