Change of name in Frankfurt and Berlin

It’s official! After thirteen years under the masthead of Neue Digitale and two years as Neue Digitale / Razorfish, the German offices of Razorfish in Berlin and Frankfurt have adopted the internationally well-known Razorfish name. The German-based operations were originally founded by Andreas Gahlert in 1996 and will now operate solely under the Razorfish name. In 2006 the agency, known at that time as Neue Digitale, joined Razorfish, which now has fifteen offices on four continents and some 2,200 employees worldwide. As the industry, and consequently agency models, continue their rapid evolution there are new trends developing almost every day. “The change is the right step towards a new and exciting era” said Andreas Gahlert, founder and CEO of Razorfish in Germany. Today, the Razorfish offices in Berlin and Frankfurt are working more holistically and globally than ever.

In Frankfurt, the change of name was attended by a change of location: Razorfish and its office designed for future demands is now located near its sister companies from the Publicis Group.
