Neue Digitale / Razorfish launches new Audi website

Berlin/Ingolstadt, 2nd February 2009 – Audi showcases itself on the Internet with a new website which addresses the needs of the user, is intuitive to use and inspires with its emotional design and technical highlights.

Neue Digitale / Razorfish Berlin has also revised the multi award winning company website in strategy, concept, design and technology. The intuitive user interfaces and information architecture at audi.de now follow the example of the Audi Multi Media Interface which already solves the problem of using complex electronics in the vehicle. Information concerning the models, offers and dealerships are even faster at the fingertips: functions such as the vehicle configurator, contact a dealership and car exchanges are better integrated into the portal.

The technical implementation also sets benchmarks in the automobile sector. What looks to be a Flash page is actually implemented in HTML. This effect is achieved through a combination of AJAX/Flash with the content management system Day Communiqué.

The website also impresses with a streamlined design and advanced technology. Audi fans can access exciting multimedia content with more than 3000 large scale product images, animations and videos available. “Particular attention should be drawn to the presentation of vehicles in high quality 360° panoramas and zoomable vehicle images“, said Sven Küster, who was responsible for the creative team. He heads the Berlin office of Neue Digitale / Razorfish together with Sascha Martini. The launch of www.audi.de sees the most comprehensive project so far go live, with the design, concept and most of the technology having been carried out by Neue Digitale / Berlin who began the project in August 2007.
